Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,92,930.11 crore on December 21 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 44,01,347.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 9,406.57 crore, Stock Futures Rs 26,669.88 crore and Index Options Rs 2,39,192.29 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 17,661.37 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.83, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.54.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Godrej Consumer Products (17.50), DCB Bank (3.18), Colgate-Palmolive (2.47), Marico (1.74) and Indo Count Industries (1.23).
Among most active underlying, Vedanta witnessed a contraction of 0.64 million of Open Interest in the December month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing a contraction of 1.21 million of Open Interest in the December month contract, Yes Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.19 million of Open Interest in the December month contract, Bharat Financial Inclusion witnessed a contraction of 0.13 million of Open Interest in the December month contract and Maruti Suzuki India witnessed an addition of 0.01 million units of Open Interest in the November month's future contract.
