Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Monday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Monday, following the declines in domestic futures and global trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 136/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 137/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to Rs 128.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.50/ kg.

In the futures market, January delivery declined to Rs 135.81 compared to its previous closing of Rs 138.49, while February delivery closed at Rs 138.88 compared to its previous close of Rs 141.46 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
