Bharat Financial trades jubilantly after Morgan Stanley raises stake

Bharat Financial Inclusion is currently trading at Rs. 545.50, up by 26.55 points or 5.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 518.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 533.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 548.00 and Rs. 531.00 respectively. So far 417958 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 938.75 on 29-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 435.00 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 596.40 and Rs. 465.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7510.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 1.75%, while institutions and non-institutions held 83.59% and 14.65% respectively.

Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) & Morgan Stanley Mauritius raised stake in Bharat Financial Inclusion by 1.10 percentage points via open market by purchasing net of 1.52 million shares on December 23, 2016. Morgan Stanley purchased 1.55 million shares, while sold 36,161 shares on the same day.

Post acquisition, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) & Morgan Stanley Mauritius combined holding in Bharat Financial Inclusion increased to 7.86% from 6.76%.
