Transformers and Rectifiers surges on bagging order worth Rs 92 crore from GETCO

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) is currently trading at Rs. 354.35, up by 16.20 points or 4.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 338.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 362.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 365.00 and Rs. 352.00 respectively. So far 2,003 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 389.00 on 10-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 196.00 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 365.00 and Rs. 323.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 469.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.54% and 19.56% respectively.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has been awarded the order for 40 No. of 15MVA and 40 No. of 20MVA Power Transformers with Natural/synthetic Ester Oil of 66 kV Class amounting to Rs 92 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). The order falls under the normal course of business. The company neither has any interest in the entity that awarded the order nor fall within related party transactions. With this order, the company’s Order book as on date stands around Rs 960 crore.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) is one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers. The company is the main supplier of transformers to the Sardar Sarovar hydel project, state electricity boards and major international clients.
