IOC hikes Petrol price by Rs 1.29 per litre

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has hiked Petrol prices by Rs 1.29 per litre and Diesel prices by 97 paise per litre with effect from the midnight of January 01/ January 02, 2017. Petrol will be sold at Rs 70.60 per litre in Delhi, while Diesel will cost Rs 57.82 per litre. The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
