IOC gains on hiking Petrol price by Rs 1.29 per litre

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is currently trading at Rs. 327.50, up by 1.85 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 325.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 327.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 329.85 and Rs. 326.50 respectively. So far 42166 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 333.60 on 07-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 172.53 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 329.85 and Rs. 306.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 159079.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.28%, while institutions and non-institutions held 16.60% and 25.12% respectively.

State-owned IOC has hiked Petrol prices by Rs 1.29 per litre and Diesel prices by 97 paise per litre with effect from the midnight of January 01/ January 02, 2016. Petrol will be sold at Rs 70.60 per litre in Delhi, while Diesel will cost Rs 57.82 per litre. The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
