Lupin moves higher on receiving USFDA approval for Generic Evoxac Capsules

Lupin is currently trading at Rs. 1508.95, up by 4.60 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 1504.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1510.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1511.90 and Rs. 1505.00 respectively. So far 8522 shares were traded on the counter.

Lupin's Cevimeline Hydrochloride Capsules, 30 mg are the AB rated generic equivalent of Daiichi Sankyo Inc's Evoxac Capsules, 30 mg. Cevimeline Hydrochloride Capsules, 30 mg are indicated for the treatment of symptoms of dry mouth in patients with Sjogren's syndrome. Evoxac Capsules had US sales of $40.8 million (IMS MAT September 2016).
