Cupid strengthens on receiving nod to raise Rs 60 crore

Cupid is currently trading at Rs. 309.00, up by 2.70 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 306.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 307.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 312.00 and Rs. 305.70 respectively. So far 7,425 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 430.00 on 06-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 228.50 on 18-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 312.00 and Rs. 297.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 343.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.07% and 51.47% respectively.

Cupid has received its board’s approval to raise funds upto Rs 60 crore by way of issuance of securities through QIP/FCCB/FCCB/ADR/GDR etc. The company’s board gave approval for the same at the meeting held on January 05, 2017.

The company’s board also gave approval for increasing the authorized share capital of the Company from Rs 12 crore to Rs 16 crore and subsequent change in capital clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company.

Cupid manufactures and markets varieties of male and female condoms, water based lubricant, latex dental dams and probe covers. Cupid has a diverse product basket available in over 25 countries worldwide.
