Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Thursday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 145/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety climbed to 139/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 137/ kg.
In the futures market, January delivery improved to Rs 144.68 compared to its previous closing of Rs 141.13, while February delivery closed at Rs 148.32 compared to its previous close of Rs 147.66 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
