IOC hikes Petrol price by 42 paise per litre

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has hiked Petrol prices by 42 paise a litre and Diesel prices by Rs 1.03 per litre with effect from the midnight of January 15/ January 16, 2017. Petrol will be sold at Rs 71.13 per litre in Delhi, while Diesel will cost Rs 59.02 per litre. The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
