Bharat Wire Ropes has booked orders of Rs 8 crore approximately out of which a prestigious and special order from defense has been awarded for Rs 6.5 crore approximately. The company has bid for various projects and the outstanding bids/offers are for Rs 60 crore approximately, which are at various stages of evaluation.
Last year in October, the company had bagged an order worth around Rs 25 crore which is to be executed by the company from its existing plant situated at Atgaon and from its on-going project at Chalisgaon, Maharashtra for both international and domestic markets.
Bharat Wire Ropes is engaged in manufacturing and sales of wire ropes, structural strands, slings and wires which find its application in general engineering, fishing, elevators, cranes, material handling, power transmission, suspension bridges, onshore / offshore oil exploration, ports and shipping, mining, defence, railways etc. It is also engaged in the business of trading of the steel related products.
