Kirloskar Ferrous rises on resuming commercial production at Koppal plant

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries is currently trading at Rs. 76.60, up by 0.80 points or 1.06 % from its previous closing of Rs. 75.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 76.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 76.75 and Rs. 75.25 respectively. So far 1829 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 94.70 on 17-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.75 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 78.40 and Rs. 74.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1038.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.50% and 37.96% respectively.

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries has completed up-gradation and resumed commercial production of a mini blast furnace at its plant in Koppal, Karnataka. The unit was shut on September 19 to upgrade the blast furnace.

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries is engaged in business of manufacturing pig iron and ferrous casting. At present the company is having two manufacturing plants, one at Koppal district in Karnataka state and another at Solapur in Maharashtra state.
