UltraTech Cement has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company has reported 6.71% rise in its net profit at Rs 563.42 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 527.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 1.85% at Rs 6469.21 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 6591.44 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 5.13% rise in its net profit after tax, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 594.61 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 565.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 1.37% to Rs 6858.47 crore for quarter under review from Rs 6953.43 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
