According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1093.25 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, May 09, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 145.19 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1109.29 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 191.32 crore, and they bought stock options worth Rs 30.09 crore.
