Refineries stocks edge higher as Government proposes to create integrated PSU oil major

Refineries stocks gained traction after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced proposal to create integrated PSU oil major.

Indian Oil Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 371.45, up by 5.40 points or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 366.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 370.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 373.25 and Rs. 367.00 respectively. So far 162776 shares were traded on the counter.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is currently trading at Rs. 202.50, up by 0.35 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 202.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 205.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 205.50 and Rs. 201.60 respectively. So far 324088 shares were traded on the counter.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 684.30, up by 3.10 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 681.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 683.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 690.25 and Rs. 674.00 respectively. So far 30517 shares were traded on the counter.
