LNG stocks gains as govt cuts basic customs duty on LNG to 2.5%

Shares of companies related to LNG rose after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced a cut in basic customs duty on LNG to 2.5% from 5%

Petronet LNG is currently trading at Rs. 385.70, up by 11.75 points or 3.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 373.95 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 376.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 390.80 and Rs. 371.10 respectively. So far 212250 shares were traded on the counter.

GAIL (India) is currently trading at Rs. 478.75, up by 11.55 points or 2.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 467.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 469.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 484.00 and Rs. 463.65 respectively. So far 109562 shares were traded on the counter.
