Muthoot Finance gains on plan to raise Rs 2,000 crore through NCDs

Muthoot Finance is currently trading at Rs. 333.00, up by 9.50 points or 2.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 323.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 328.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 337.70 and Rs. 323.20 respectively. So far 52,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 405.35 on 08-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 170.20 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 337.70 and Rs. 291.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13,301.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.36% and 4.09% respectively.

Muthoot Finance is planning to raise up to Rs 2000 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis in one or more tranches. The board of directors of the company in their meeting, scheduled to be held on February 13, 2017, will consider the same.

Muthoot Finance is a non-banking financial company (NBFC), which is engaged in providing loan (financing) against collateral of gold jewelry. The Company offers gold loans, foreign inward money transfer services, foreign exchange services, insurance broking, home loans, personal loans, collection services, microfinance, windmill power generation, white label automated teller machine, instant money transfer services and domestic money transfer services.
