Welspun Corp has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 42.29 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 74.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 56.07% at Rs 1009.58 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 646.89 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss after tax, minority interest and share of profit / (Loss) of associates and Joint Ventures of Rs.13.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to net profit of Rs 76.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 28.32% to Rs 1230.85 crore for quarter under review from Rs 1717.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
