HPCL reports 53% growth in Q3FY17 net profit

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has reported 52.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 1590.31 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1041.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.05% at Rs 55828.52 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 48526.06 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

HPCL owns & operates two major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels & specialties, one in Mumbai of 6.5 MMTPA capacity and the other in Visakhapatnam, with a capacity of 8.3 MMTPA.
