Petronet LNG reports over two-fold jump in Q3 net profit

Petronet LNG has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has posted over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 397.47 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 170.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015. Total income of the company increased by 21.56% at Rs 6354.32 crore for Q3FY17 as compared Rs 5227.47 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Petronet LNG (PLL) is engaged in sale of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG). The company is engaged in the import and re-gasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The company operates through the segment of natural gas business.
