NMDC reports 41% jump in Q3 net profit

NMDC has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has reported 41.33% rise in its net profit at Rs 595.16 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 421.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 36.24% at Rs 2653.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1947.91 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

NMDC is India's single largest iron ore producer, presently producing about 30 million tonnes of iron ore from 3 fully mechanized mines viz., Bailadila Deposit-14/11C, Bailadila Deposit-5, 10/11A (Chhattisgarh State) and Donimalai Iron Ore Mines (Karnataka State).
