Siemens gains on bagging order worth Rs 101 crore

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 1201.40, up by 5.20 points or 0.43 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1196.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1199.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1208.90 and Rs. 1180.00 respectively. So far 9499 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1355.40 on 25-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 973.20 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1258.85 and Rs. 1,180.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42720.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.17% and 10.83% respectively.

Siemens has won an order worth approximately Rs 101 crore from Delhi Transco (DTL). The order includes installing 220/66/33kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation at R.K. Puram, New Delhi.

DTL is the State Transmission Utility of New Delhi. To enhance its efficiency and productivity, DTL is using state of the art technologies in its operations. Keeping in view the land constraints and environmental hazards, DTL is prioritizing GIS substations in place of Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) substations. GIS substations are both reliable and maintenance-friendly, and contribute to improved quality of power in the system.
