Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,16,575.87 crore on February 14 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 42,86,970.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 11,062.16 crore, Stock Futures Rs 40,392.45 crore and Index Options Rs 2,31,751.76 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 33,369.50 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.85, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.92 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Oracle Financial Services Software (2.00), Eicher Motors (1.64), Sun TV Network (1.45), Bharti Airtel (1.37) and Tata Consultancy Services (1.33).
Among most active underlying, Tata Motors witnessed an addition of 3.24 million units of Open Interest in the February month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing an addition of 0.76 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Sun TV Network witnessed an addition of 0.08 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Vedanta witnessed a contraction of 0.97 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract and Yes Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.65 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract.
