Voltas has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company has posted over three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 103.41 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 30.79 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.62% at Rs 1095.09 crore for Q3FY17 as compared Rs 1124.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 42.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 81.56 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 57.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.89% at Rs 1259.78 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1297.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
