Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 7,11,098.65 crore on February 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 92,96,390.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,765.47 crore, Stock Futures Rs 46,775.44 crore and Index Options Rs 6,16,413.70 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 33,144.05 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.84, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.87 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Oracle Financial Services Software (2.00), Eicher Motors (1.55), Bharti Airtel (1.48), Sun TV Network (1.42) and TVS Motor (1.25).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 0.86 million units of Open Interest in the February month futures contract, followed by Vedanta witnessing a contraction of 0.14 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Tata Motors witnessed a contraction of 8.72 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Tata Steel witnessed an addition of 1.31 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract and Infosys witnessed a contraction of 2.81 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract.
