Siemens moves higher on bagging order worth Rs 119 crore from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures

Siemens is currently trading at Rs 1210.50, up by 2.25 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1208.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1215.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1221.00 and Rs. 1205.00 respectively. So far 3395 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1355.40 on 25-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 973.20 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1229.00 and Rs. 1180.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43161.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.17% and 10.83% respectively.

Siemens has received an order worth around Rs 119 crore from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures. The order is for Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacture, Supply and commissioning of equipment for 765/400kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Substation at Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) and 765kV AIS Bay Extension Equipment at Dhule (Maharashtra) for Khargone Transmission.
