Bharti Airtel rings loud on concluding acquisition of Augere

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 367.55, up by 1.35 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 366.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 366.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 372.10 and Rs. 363.00 respectively. So far 53734 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 384.90 on 28-Apr-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 283.95 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 372.40 and Rs. 353.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 146624.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while institutions and non-institutions held 26.39% and 6.44% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has completed the merger of Augere Wireless Broadband India (Augere), a wholly owned subsidiary with itself. Last year in August, the company had signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent equity stake in Augere.

Augere is engaged in the business of operating, supplying, managing, dealing and using communication, telecommunication service, telecommunication system etc. as also carrying on the business in the field of providing broadband wireless service, internet service, telecommunication etc.
