Oracle Financial plunges on reporting 18% fall in FY12 consolidated net profit

Oracle Financial is currently trading at Rs. 2479.85, down by 88.20 points or 3.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 2568.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2577.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2577.90 and Rs. 2436.00 respectively. So far 4074 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2765.90 on 12-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1699.00 on 22-Aug-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2617.40 and Rs. 2436.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 20724.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.36% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.01% and 11.63% respectively. 

Oracle Financial Services Software has reported net profit rise of 49.02% to Rs 499.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31,2012, as compared to Rs 335.18 crore for the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. Company’s total income has increased by 3.24% to Rs 781.86 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 757.33 crore for March quarter of previous fiscal.

For full year ended March 31, 2012, the Company posted growth of 12.53% in its net profit of Rs 1089.23 crore as compared to Rs 967.97 crore for previous fiscal. Company’s total income has increased by 19.19% to Rs 2980.88 crore for the year under review from Rs 2500.81 crore for the previous year.

On Consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit for the year ended March 31, 2012 has declined by 18.15% at Rs 909.29 crore as compared to Rs 1110.98 crore for the previous year. Group’s total income has increased by 12.79% to Rs 3568.43 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 from Rs 3163.76 crore for the previous fiscal.
