Kernex Microsystems India has bagged order worth Rs 3 crore to upgrade the software in Raksha Kavach deployed in North Frontier Railways scheduled to be completed by July 2012. This is expected to limit the braking and improve the overall performance.
The company received approval from Konkan Railway Corporation to extend the CMC services being delivered to NF Railways ACD by 6 months upto September 30 2012 at a cost of about Rs 7 crore.
Kernex Microsystems India is engaged in the business of manufacturing, installing and maintaining of anti-collision systems as well as conceptualizing, designing, and developing certain railway safety and signal systems for Konkan Railways Corporation. These safety and signal systems are suitable for medium to low speed & density railway tracks like in India and other developing countries.
