Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 160/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 149.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 150/ kg.
In the futures market, March delivery improved to Rs 158.47 compared to its previous closing of Rs 157.50, while April delivery closed at Rs 166.65 compared to its previous close of Rs 166.46 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
