Physical rubber prices ruled steady on Tuesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 160/ kg and Rs 149.50/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, March delivery fell to Rs 155.34 compared to its previous closing of Rs 158.47, while April delivery closed at Rs 162.95 compared to its previous close of Rs 166.65 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
