GlaxoSmithKline introduces Horlicks Aahar Abhiyan

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, makers of the brand Horlicks has introduced Horlicks Aahar Abhiyan on May 14, 2012. This campaign will aim to address issues of malnutrition among the youth. The company has roped in actor Vidya Balan as brand ambassador for the campaign.

Under the campaign, GlaxoSmithKline will contribute Re 1 towards the initiative from the sale of Horlicks in the state. In West Bengal, the company will partner a non-governmental organization called Child in Need Institute.

GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare’s core business is manufacturing of health drinks under the brand Horlicks. It exports products to countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Middle East, Fiji, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan and many more.
