Emami has commenced commercial production at its newly setup plant in Pacharia, Dolapathar, Kamrup, Assam from February 23, 2017.
The company was last year in October planning to set up cement units in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. In its medium term goals, the company wants to build a cement production capacity of 15-20 million tonnes over the next 3-5 years.
Emami is the flagship company of the Emami Group and engaged in manufacturing products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products.
