Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation, has won the highly coveted ‘BPO Firm of the Year’ award at the 5th annual CEE Shared Services and Outsourcing Awards ceremony in Warsaw. In a competitive awards programme, in which 129 entrants from 23 countries were short listed from a range of world class companies, TCS was judged the BPO leader in the region.
With Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) already a well-established destination for shared services centres and BPO investment, this award is a highly coveted recognition of TCS’ growing presence in the region, servicing leading organisations from a range of sectors. The sector is estimated to contribute 67 billion euros to the economies in the CEE region, with the total outsourcing headcount reaching around 3.8 million people.
