Colgate Palmolive (India) has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011
The company‘s net profit after tax for the quarter has dropped by 17.66% at Rs 100.44 crore whereas the same was at Rs 121.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. The company’s total Income has increased by 15.53% at Rs 641.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 whereas the same was at Rs 555.11 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company has reported that the figures reported for current quarter are not comparable with figures of the corresponding quarter in the previous year as it does not include results of CCH since the order sanctioning the Scheme of Amalgamation was received in August 2010. Pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation, sanctioned by an order dated August 11, 2010 of the High Court of Judicature at Andhra Pradesh, CC Healthcare Products ('CCH') has been amalgamated with the Company with effect from April 01, 2009.
