Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Wednesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 151/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 154/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 141/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.
In the futures market, March delivery fell to Rs 143.31 compared to its previous closing of Rs 145.15, while April delivery closed at Rs 148.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 150.66 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
