Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 6,80,784.08 crore on March 9 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 85,42,836.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 12,848.86 crore, Stock Futures Rs 34,007.70 crore and Index Options Rs 6,14,176.19 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 19,751.33 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.72, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.73 and that of Stock Options was 0.47.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were NIIT Technologies (1.53), Tata Consultancy Services (1.44), YES Bank (0.92), Indraprastha Gas (0.87) and Indo Count Industries (0.86).
Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 0.35 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Vedanta witnessing an addition of 0.30 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 2.56 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories witnessed an addition of 0.47 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract and Bharat Financial Inclusion witnessed a contraction of 0.12 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
