FIIs net buyers of Rs 324.03 crore in index futures and options segments on May 16

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 324.03 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 756.01 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1080.04 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 91.97 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 38.11 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 16, 2012 is 32.45%.
