NMDC shines on reporting 30.33 MT production of iron ore up to February 2017

NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 140.95, up by 1.85 points or 1.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 139.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 140.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 141.50 and Rs. 139.75 respectively. So far 326672 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 152.50 on 02-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 85.30 on 02-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 142.25 and Rs. 138.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44500.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.63% and 3.43% respectively.

NMDC has reported 30.33 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 32.33 MT up to the month of February 2017. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 19.41 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 20.81 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 10.92 MT of iron ore and sold 11.52 MT of iron ore up to February 2017.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
