Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Wednesday in tune with domestic futures and global trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 149/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 150/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.

In the futures market, April delivery fell to Rs 146.13 compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.79, while May delivery closed at Rs 150.78 compared to its previous close of Rs 154.75 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
