Wipro’s IT, consulting and outsourcing business Wipro Technologies is likely to introduce India Gateway internship programme for UK university students in July 2012. This internship program consists of three month technology induction course followed by a six-month on-the-job training with Wipro teams. Students have to work with live project teams in the last three months.
The company aims to tap and nurture over 100,000 talented individuals’ trough this initiative. In July 2012, sorting process for applicants will start and in the second week of September 2012, batch comprising 20 students is expected to arrive in India.
