Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation reports 14% fall in Q4 net profit

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 13.73% in its net profit at Rs 45.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 52.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 61.10% at Rs 690.25 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 428.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 14.12% in its net profit at Rs 212.97 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 186.62 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 49.72% at Rs 2342.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1564.81 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 12.90% in its net profit at Rs 211.70 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 187.51 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 48.14% at Rs 2411.57 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1627.90 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
