Seamec buys bulk carrier for $9.250 million

Seamec has purchased a bulk carrier and renamed the same as ‘Seamec Gallant’. The cost of the ship is $9.250 million. The company has completed the registration formalities with Indian Authority on March 30, 2017.

Further, the company has entered into a Time Charter of the said ship with Clipper Bulk Shipping, Bahamas for a period of 36-39 months. The firm contract value per year would be about $2.007 million, for 3 years about $6.022 million. The Charter commences from March 31, 2017. The Charter has inbuilt provision for linking the Charter rate for upward revision as per terms of Contract.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
