Physical Rubber prices end lower on buyer resistance

Physical Rubber prices ended lower on Tuesday on account of buyer resistance following the sharp declines in global markets. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 146.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.

In the futures market, April delivery declined to Rs 142.08 compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.29, while May delivery closed at Rs 149.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 149.80 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
