According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 137.78 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, May 21, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 546.80 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 409.01 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 79.45 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 34.29 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 21, 2012 is 32.00%.
