Physical Rubber prices ended lower on Wednesday owing to global declines and the absence of domestic buyers. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 145/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 141/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 142/ kg.
In the futures market, April delivery declined to Rs 140.48 compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.08, while May delivery closed at Rs 147.07 compared to its previous close of Rs 149.15 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
