Barak Valley Cements shines on commencing commercial production from expanded capacity

Barak Valley Cement is currently trading at Rs. 35.15, up by 5.05 points or 16.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 35.70 and Rs. 30.25 respectively. So far 83494 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 35.70 on 13-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.70 on 01-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 35.70 and Rs. 29.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 73.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.33% while non-institutions held 42.67% stake in the company.   

Barak Valley Cements has commenced commercial production from the expanded capacity. With the commencement of commercial production from the expanded capacity the total production capacity of Cement Grinding Unit now is 1000 TPD.

Barak Valley Cements (BVCL) is engaged in the business of manufacturing of cement of different grades and is marketing its product under the brand name ‘Valley Strong Cement’.
