FIIs net buyers of Rs 602.34 crore in index futures and options segments on May 22

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 602.34 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 571.92 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 30.41 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 247.39 crore, and they bought stock options worth Rs 13.42 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 22, 2012 is 32.05%.
