Muthoot Finance, a leading gold loan company has opened a new branch in Ponnurunni, Ernakulam. It has taken this initiative as a part of its geographic expansion strategy for increasing its business in that region. With the help of this branch, the company will be able to offer a wide range of products and services and will strengthen relationships with customers. The branch has been formally inaugurated by Tonny Chammany, Mayor, Kochi Corporation.
Company has registered over 80% jump in net profit at Rs 892 crore for the financial year 2011-12. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 494 crore in the previous fiscal. The company’s total income during the year went up by over 96% at Rs 4,549 crore as against Rs 2,316 crore in 2010-11.
