NMDC has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) for working together on exploring tungsten reserves in India and abroad.
NMDC and DMRL will together work on preparation of a detailed project report for assessment of potential tungsten reserves within the country and explore opportunities for acquisition/ sourcing tungsten minerals elsewhere abroad through appointment of reputed consultants.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
